Resistance filmfest to host ‘Henas’

Iranian feature ‘Henas’ is scheduled to vie at the Resistance International Film Festival.

‘Henas’, produced by Soureh Cinema Organization and directed by Hossein Darabi, will be screened at the feature films section of this year’s edition of the event.

The film is about the life of Martyr Daryoush Rezaeenejad and his assassination.

The RIFF, one of the most prestigious international film festivals in Iran, is dedicated to productions on wars and the repercussions of armed conflicts in the world.

It also puts a spotlight on the resistance of the Palestinian people against the Zionist regime, Daesh and their terrorist attacks in the region, as well as the world’s tyrants and their backing of Daesh.

The 17th edition of the biennial RIFF will start on March 3 in the southern city of Bandar Abbas and will run until March 8.

The upcoming edition of the event will be held on a warship in the Persian Gulf.
